Common Questions:
When came I drop off donations? Chosen is open for donation drops only during the posted times. No appointment is needed, but we will only accept donations during these time windows.
How should I sort my donations? If possible, please sort your donations by size and/or gender, as we have limited volunteer assistance. Be mindful of what you donate to ensure it aligns with our mission.
What can I donate? Clothing may be gently used, but all toys, toiletries, diapers, wipes, underwear, and socks must be new and in their original packaging. If you have questions about your donation, please email amalie@choseninlove.org ahead of time.
Do you accept suitcases and/or duffle bags? Thank you for your consistent generosity and inquiries regarding suitcases for foster children. Unfortunately, we cannot accept used suitcases, duffle bags, or similar items. It's best to contact your local county Health and Human Services to see if they can accept these items. At Chosen, we serve foster children who have already been placed in foster homes. Suitcases are more beneficial for kids just entering foster care, so agencies and County HHS are your best options for donating these items.
